Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and assigned client groups. You will ensure renewals are processed accurately, assist with submissions, and help manage complex client needs with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance client service, active licensing, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing, CISR designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed on time
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks
• Support new and renewal submissions, gather underwriting information, prepare proposals, and bind coverage
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver proactive service and seek continuous improvement to team performance
