Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring timely renewals, accurate policy processing, and high-quality service for assigned accounts.

Under supervision of Account Manager or Producer, you will handle policy processing, submissions, and client research while maintaining data accuracy across agency systems and delivering proactive service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day activities and workflow of team support and account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, refunds, and billing issues.
• Support new and renewal business through research, submissions, and proposals.
• Review contracts to verify proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
