Job summary

Baylands Development Company in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Commercial Leasing Manager to lead leasing execution, tenant prospecting, and entitlement efforts across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use spaces. Reporting to the COO, you will work with brokers, public agencies, legal, and finance to move deals from prospecting to close, while aligning with entitlement timelines.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in commercial real estate with proven tenant outreach and negotiation

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of commercial real estate experience with leasing and/or entitlements
• Proven track record of tenant prospecting, lease negotiation and deal execution
• Knowledge of zoning, land use, CEQA/NEPA and municipal entitlement processes
• Strong negotiation, communication, project management and cross‑functional coordination skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and real estate databases
• Experience in fast-paced environments with property management teams in CRE

Responsibilities

• Leasing, prospecting and market activation across office, retail, industrial and mixed-use spaces
• Manage entitlement and permitting processes from application through approval
• Cross‑functional coordination with brokers, legal counsel, and property management to align activities
• Maintain tracking and reporting of leasing activity, tenant pipeline, entitlement progress and milestones
