First Mid Bancshares, Inc. seeks an Insurance Producer II - Commercial to serve as a key relationship manager for First Mid Insurance Group in Des Moines, IA.

The role focuses on securing new business, retaining existing property and casualty clients, and acting as a commercial lines broker. You will meet aggressive sales targets, develop new prospects, gather underwriting information, and deliver compelling proposals to win business while supporting client retention and account service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5 years in insurance production experience required.
• Proven sales success in insurance industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as commercial lines broker and relationship manager.
• Meet or exceed aggressive annual sales targets.
• Develop prospects and close new business through First Mid channels.
• Build relationships, gather underwriting information, deliver proposals, and win business.
• Provide back-up support to administrative staff and relay client needs.
