Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under the guidance of AM/AE/Producer. The role focuses on ensuring production and quality standards while safeguarding against errors and omissions, handling moderately complex client issues and small accounts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting info, submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, issuance.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion by monitoring activity/suspense.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate IOA values: integrity and leadership.
