Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills; exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Process policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, invoicing, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: client research, underwriting information, submissions, negotiations, proposals, binding coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
• Monitor activity and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate workload status with the account team and stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and pursue continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership in IOA values
