Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team. The role reports to an Account Manager/Producer and focuses on maintaining service quality while mitigating liability from errors and omissions.

You will manage policy renewals, endorsements, and client submissions, while supporting day-to-day operations, contracts, and data integrity in agency systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support day-to-day activities of the team and reception staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, invoices, and binders.
• Support new and renewal business, gather information, prepare proposals, and assist with policy issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve team performance and IOA values.
