Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team and producers. You will ensure accurate policy management and timely renewals while assisting with submissions and proposals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, strong communication, and analytical skills. The role emphasizes service excellence, collaboration, and professional growth in a remote work setup

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related policy tasks.
• Support new and renewal business including submissions, coverages, pricing, and proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms for accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and advocate IOA values.
