Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC field service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC systems at customer sites. You will coordinate with project leaders and customers to ensure precise on-site execution, using blueprints, pipe fitting, and electrical understanding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical School or formal HVAC training preferred.
• EPA Certification required for the role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile devices.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and no major violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on site.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements.
• Diagnose and repair equipment per blueprints and specs.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets.
• Flexibility to work overtime and possible overnight stays.
