Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an experienced HVAC technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair and start up HVAC systems in commercial facilities. You will interact with customers and collaborate with internal and external partners from new builds to retrofits.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. We offer strong benefits and career growth within a global climate innovator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile devices (smartphone/tablet).
• Ability to perform physically demanding HVAC tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact for projects and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Work overtime/weekends as needed and maintain safety standards.
• Record asset usage and conditions and manage site security.
