Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an HVAC technician to service commercial customers across a defined market. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems, collaborating with internal and external partners on new facilities and retrofits.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years HVAC experience, and EPA certification preferred. A valid driver’s license and proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience in HVAC.
• Technical School or formal training is preferred.
• EPA Certification Preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair at customer locations in accordance with Trane specifications.
• Support Trane technicians at various site locations performing maintenance and repairs.
• Represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
• Use software and technology, along with hand-tools, to diagnose and repair units.
• Work overtime and weekends as required and maintain safety and asset security.
