J and J commercial Services in East Texas seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Operations Manager to lead our Tyler/Longview team. You will own day-to-day operations, drive performance, and shape growth in a fast-paced service environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC/refrigeration with supervisory experience, strong technical knowledge, and proven leadership. This role offers advancement opportunities and a path to profitability in a client-focused operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC/refrigeration with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• EPA 608 certification is required; additional certs are a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of commercial HVAC and refrigeration service, installation, and maintenance teams.
• Manage scheduling, dispatching, and workflow coordination for timely service delivery.
• Monitor job performance, quality control, and customer satisfaction across accounts.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate technicians and staff.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and expenses.
• Build relationships with commercial clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Identify growth opportunities and process improvements.
