J and J commercial Services in East Texas seeks a driven Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Operations Manager to lead our service, installation, and maintenance teams. The role emphasizes ownership of day-to-day operations, performance drive, and profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial HVAC/refrigeration with supervisory experience, EPA 608 certification, and strong leadership, budgeting, and client-management skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration, with 2+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
• EPA 608 Certification required; NATE/CMHE certifications are a plus.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team.
• Experience with service management software and scheduling platforms.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage budgets and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of commercial HVAC and refrigeration service, installation, and maintenance teams.
• Manage scheduling, dispatching, and workflow coordination for timely service delivery.
• Monitor performance, quality, and customer satisfaction across commercial accounts.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate technicians and support staff.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and labor costs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities for growth, process improvements, and service expansion.
