Job summary

East Texas Refrigeration seeks a hands-on Commercial HVAC Project Manager / Field Supervisor to lead installations, coordinate with GCs, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and specs from Longview, TX.

You will supervise crews, read blueprints, mentor apprentices, and uphold safety and quality while traveling to Texas job sites with minimal overnight stays. Competitive pay $24–$30/hr + bonus potential and full benefits.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
Experience leading crews or acting as a lead installer.
Strong knowledge of ductwork and commercial HVAC systems.
Pipefitting and brazing experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
EPA certification preferred (not required).
Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installations (new construction & retrofits).
Coordinate with project managers and general contractors.
Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to spec.
Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
Read and interpret blueprints and job specs.
Track materials, labor, and job progress.
Travel to job sites across Texas (minimal overnight work).
Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality.
