Byrum Heating & AC in North Carolina is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead projects from kickoff to startup, install and inspect a range of HVAC systems, and mentor Install Helpers and Apprentices. You will read blueprints and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong mechanical skills, EPA certification, and a clean driving record with the ability to work rooftop, mechanical, and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.

Responsabilités

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to startup.
• Install and replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and duct systems.
• Read blueprints, job specifications, and installation plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and system performance.
• Perform equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and final inspections.
• Communicate with customers, project managers, and team members throughout installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Complete installation documentation on time.
