Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC in North Carolina is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead commercial installation projects from kickoff to final startup. You will set the standard for quality, safety, and teamwork while mentoring Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.

The role requires 4+ years of HVAC installation experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on rooftops and in mechanical rooms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Install and replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, and duct systems.
• Read blueprints and installation plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
