Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to manage installation projects from kickoff to final startup. You will lead on site, mentor Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You bring 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll read blueprints, coach the team, and coordinate with customers and project managers.

Qualifications

EPA Certification required.
4+ years HVAC installation experience.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
Install and replace rooftops, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and duct systems.
Read blueprints, job specifications, and installation plans to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
Verify proper airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and overall system performance.
Perform equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and final quality inspections.
Communicate with customers, project managers, and team members throughout the installation process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Complete installation documentation accurately and on time.
