Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, Suffolk, Virginia, seeks a Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead one or more electrical projects through all phases of construction from ground-up to completion.

This role requires ensuring NEC compliance, safety, and quality while cultivating client relationships in a highly competitive market. The candidate should have 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience on $10M+ projects, and a bachelor’s degree in

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $10M+ (mission critical, ground-up, remodel).
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a Client or geographic area.
• Manages projects to exceed customer expectations and ensures work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interests and maintains client relationships.
• Travel as required.
