IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, Suffolk, VA, seeks a Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager/Estimator to oversee on-site construction, scheduling, estimating, and change orders.

The role emphasizes supervision of craft workers, coordination of subcontractors, and technical guidance on drawings and equipment. The ideal candidate has 4 years of PM/estimating experience in commercial electrical settings and may hold a Journeyman or Master electrical license.

Qualifications

• 4 years of project management/estimating experience in commercial electrical construction or service setting.
• Valid Electrical License at Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising craft workers and/or other staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise total construction effort to ensure projects are built per design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control and support staff.
• Provide direction to craft workers and contractor/sub-contractor workers as required.
• Provide technical assistance, e.g., interpretation of drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment.
• Complete estimating and documentation for extra work and issue change orders.
• Manage productivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials and equipment, and overall contractual performance.
