IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a national provider of electrical contracting solutions, seeks a Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager in Suffolk, Virginia.

You will lead one or more electrical construction projects, manage budgets, schedules and safety compliance, and represent the company in client and subcontractor meetings. Candidates should have 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience on $10M+ projects, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ electrical construction project management experience on $10M+ projects
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred
• Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities
• Manages projects to exceed customer expectations while adhering to NEC and safety policies
• Establishes project objectives, policies and performance standards within corporate boundaries
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in negotiations
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company and maintain client relationships
• Travel as required
