Job summary

DuraServ is seeking experienced technicians to diagnose with precision, install with pride, and own the outcome on commercial dock and door systems. You will work on-site, independently handle complex service calls, and make technical decisions in the field to keep facilities running.

We value hands-on experience with welding, hydraulics, and electrical work, with a focus on root-cause solutions and durable results.

Qualifications

• Valid, current state-issued driver's license — field travel daily to customer sites.
• Ability to meet physical demands: fieldwork outdoors, ladder use, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnose root causes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate brackets and mounts.
• Read manuals and wiring diagrams to guide diagnostics and repairs accurately.
• Maintain a safe job site and comply with OSHA PPE and fall protection standards.
• Document all service activity with precision and recommendations for maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with customers, provide real-time updates without overselling.
• Support teammates on larger installations and adapt to changing schedules.
