Job summary

DuraServ Corp is seeking an experienced Commercial Door & Dock Technician in Summerville, SC to diagnose, install, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment on customer sites. You will diagnose root causes, perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and fabricate installation hardware as needed.

The role requires hands-on experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly with customers while upholding safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with commercial dock and door systems
• Valid, current state-issued driver's license; daily field travel to customer sites
• Ability to meet physical demands: outdoor fieldwork, ladder use, lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; read manuals and diagrams
• Document service activity with precision; provide real-time status updates to customers
• Support teammates on larger installations and stay flexible to changing schedules
