Zusammenfassung

Canto is hiring its first in-house Commercial Counsel to build and scale a modern legal function from the ground up. The role focuses on strategic commercial contracting, from MSAs to DPAs, with AI-enabled processes designed to speed deals and reduce friction.

Reporting to the CFO, you will own end-to-end contracting operations, implement CLM templates and workflows, and partner with Sales, Finance, and executives across US and Europe.

Qualifikationen

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• 5–8 years of legal experience in SaaS or technology in-house or at a firm.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial SaaS agreements including MSAs, subscription agreements, DPAs, and NDAs.
• Working knowledge of data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
• Ability to build processes from scratch and scale legal infrastructure.

• Drive Commercial Contracting & Sales Enablement.
• Negotiate and execute commercial SaaS agreements with guardrails.
• Scale contracting operations with AI-enabled processes and CLM.
• Lead end-to-end contracting for customer and vendor agreements.
• Manage data privacy and regulatory alignment across geographies.
• Partner with Sales, Security, Product, and executives on AI/tech legal needs.
