SaaS Commercial Counsel — Remote, AI-Driven Contracting Leader

Canto is seeking its first in-house legal leader to build a modern contracting function focused on growth through strategic commercial agreements. Reporting to the CFO, you will implement AI-enabled processes, CLM systems, and playbooks to accelerate deal velocity and scale the business.

In this role, you will partner with Sales, Finance, and the executive team across the US, with GDPR/CCPA and privacy considerations guiding vendor and data governance.

Qualifikationen

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• 5–8 years of legal experience in SaaS or technology.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial SaaS agreements (MSAs, subscription agreements, DPAs, and NDAs).
• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, and related regulations.

• Lead end-to-end contracting for customer and vendor agreements in a scalable, AI-enabled operation.
• Design and operate AI-enabled contracting function to accelerate deal velocity and reduce friction.
