Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel for Commercial Transactions in the United States (Hybrid). You will draft, review, and negotiate customer-facing and strategic contracts for SaaS, software licensing, and cloud services while partnering with Sales, Product, Security, and Finance.

The role requires 8+ years in technology transactions, a JD, and strong negotiation skills. You will influence pricing, create scalable contracting processes, and leverage AI-enabled tools to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

Eight or more years of relevant experience in-house or at a law firm supporting technology transactions.
Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, strategic partnerships, and enterprise agreements.
Knowledge of data privacy, information security, and regulatory considerations relevant to SaaS.
JD degree from an accredited law school and US license.

Responsibilities

Lead customer, procurement, and strategic commercial negotiations for SaaS, software, and hybrid cloud offerings.
Provide strategic legal advice and negotiate high-volume, complex contracts with various stakeholders.
Advise on pricing governance, contract templates, and process improvements.
Utilize AI legal tech tools and Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and Ironclad responsibly.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enable growth while managing legal risk.
