Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions in a hybrid role based in Chicago. You will draft, review, and negotiate software, SaaS, and cloud-service agreements, with a focus on strategic partnerships and AI-enabled offerings.

You will partner with Sales, Product, Security, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders to enable growth, manage legal risk, and develop scalable contracting processes. A JD and US admission are required.

Qualifications

Eight or more years of experience in technology transactions.
Extensive experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, and enterprise agreements.
JD degree and US license to practice law.
Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory considerations in SaaS contexts.
Experience with AI-enabled products is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead customer, procurement, and strategic commercial negotiations and transactions, including SaaS, software, and hybrid cloud offerings.
Provide strategic legal advice and manage a high volume of contracts with varying complexity.
Engage with customers to ensure they feel heard and deliver value.
Implement contracting process improvements and standard forms to increase efficiency.
Leverage AI legal technology tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
