Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC in Cary, NC is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to provide world-class support from tendering to project completion, balancing customer focus with risk management. The role leads negotiations, reviews NDAs, analyzes risks, and collaborates across Sales, Proposals, Projects and Legal teams.

Expect ~20% travel, including international travel, and ongoing development of risk management processes within a global regional context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or transactional contract negotiation experience.
• Experience in the NAM Region with understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
• Ability to draft and negotiate in English (French is a plus).
• Knowledge of legal terminology used in commercial contracts.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to present to customers and Veolia teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide negotiations preparation and support to Sales, Proposal, Project Managers and other regional functions.
• Review, negotiate and approve NDAs to support proposals.
• Analyze key issues, assess risk, and develop mitigation strategies for complex contracts.
• Ensure compliance with in-house workflow and approvals.
• Prepare persuasive positions for complex contract negotiations and change orders.
