Job summary

The role has high strategic impact, including contract formation, negotiation, and administration, with growth into the professional contract management field.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and able to work across teams. In-office presence is required at a NANA office in Phoenix, AZ or Anchorage, AK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 6–10 years of directly related experience
• Advanced understanding of contractual terms and conditions (indemnity, warranty, performance acceptance)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience or knowledge of data management systems (CLM, SharePoint, Word, Excel)
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Support Operations and contracts leadership in developing contract strategy and driving implementation of strategic opportunities
• Assist in negotiations and provide contractual expertise for various contract types (Fixed Price/Lump Sum, Time & Materials, Cost Reimbursable)
• Draft terms and conditions for confidentiality and teaming agreements; suggest favorable recommendations
• Review proposed contracts, road changes for compliance, mitigate risk, and align with business strategies
• Prepare formal contract correspondence conforming to terms and internal objectives
• Interpret contract policies and operating practices to ensure compliance and improve performance
