Job summary

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services firm, seeks an experienced Senior Construction Manager for a large ground-up commercial real estate project. You will lead delivery from inception through commissioning, coordinating with the client, GC, and design teams to ensure cost, schedule and quality objectives are met.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage interfaces with authorities having jurisdiction while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience.
• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent; OSHA certification.
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong leadership and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders with GC and A/E.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Turner & Townsend site project team under client direction.
• Coordinate with general contractor, architect/engineer, and services provider for construction activities.
• Perform constructability reviews and identify risks to cost and schedule.
• Oversee safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Develop schedules, track progress, and report to client and team.
• Interface with local authorities and manage permitting issues.
• Review submittals and RFIs; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare and participate in design and construction reviews and risk assessments.
