Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster for Commercial Garage and General Liability to manage claims from receipt through resolution or trial.

You will coordinate with insureds, defense counsel, and underwriting while ensuring timely reporting and coverage analysis. The role requires an adjuster’s license, 5+ years of experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualificações

• Insurance adjusters license required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum five plus years’ experience handling Commercial Garage and/or General Liability claims.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to negotiate and be persuasive.
• Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time-management skills, as some tasks will be time sensitive.

Responsabilidades

• Direct handling of Commercial Garage and General Liability claims from receipt to resolution or trial/appeal.
• Provide early contact with insured to identify witnesses and relevant documents.
• Analyse coverage for application to claim and prepare coverage position letters.
• Communicate with underwriting for clarification of policy language intent.
• Maintain diaries for file tasks, settlements, and trial.
• Oversee defense counsel and coordinate litigation strategy.
• Prepare internal reports and identify reserve increases for management review.
• Monitor litigation budgets and approve expenses.
• Attend mediation and settlement conferences when required.
