Job summary

ESIS in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Claims Representative, AGL to manage commercial automobile and general liability claims for client accounts. The role investigates and settles claims promptly, within guidelines, under supervision of the Claims Team Leader.

The candidate will interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses; evaluate liability; prepare investigative reports; and assist in reserving and finalizing settlements while maintaining best practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience handling commercial automobile and GL claims.
• Strong investigative and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently under established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, receives assignments and reviews claim and policy information to support investigation.
• Contacts, interviews, and obtains statements from insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, attorneys, police officers, etc.
• Evaluates facts to determine liability and the company’s obligation under the policy.
• Prepares reports on investigations, settlements, denials, and evaluations of involved parties.
• Sets reserves within authority limits and discusses changes with Team Leader.
• Prepares and submits for unusual exposures and assists in developing better handling methods.
