Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician for our Austin, TX team. The role requires strong troubleshooting, a can-do attitude, and an active EPA certification to service air-cooled and centrifugal chillers and associated equipment.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and present service reports to clients, while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC with chillers preferred.
• Active EPA Certification required.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC systems including air-cooled and centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, valves, and VAV systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Inspect and test system components for proper operation and efficiency.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, installation, and commissioning of chillers and related HVAC equipment.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to assess and repair systems.
• Provide on-site service and guidance to clients on maintenance and energy efficiency.
