Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician to join our Charlotte team. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and related HVAC equipment on customer sites.

Qualifications include 5+ years in a commercial HVAC setting with chillers, EPA certification, OSHA 10, and technical HVAC training. The role requires on-call flexibility and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting with chillers.
• Active EPA Certification.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Technical training in HVAC or Refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of commercial systems including air-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, VA systems.
• Diagnose and repair machine and equipment defects including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Inspect and test system components to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems.
• Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to assess and repair HVAC systems.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial chiller and refrigeration equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present detailed service reports to customers.

Valid Driver License

Boiler experience
