Job summary

Texas Capital is seeking a Relationship Manager II in Commercial Banking to drive new client relationships, fundings, deposits, and SBA deals for mid-market companies. The role carries a client portfolio and targets sales production while delivering comprehensive financial solutions across industries.

The position emphasizes market knowledge, client-centric service, risk awareness, and cross-functional teamwork to build long-lasting relationships with clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of commercial banking experience preferred, with a focus on business banking clients.
• Formal Credit Training (Commercial Credit certification or underwriting experience) preferred.
• Self-starter with a drive to exceed metrics and production goals.
• Effective team player with ability to collaborate across groups in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Drives financial results by building a strategic client acquisition pipeline to deepen portfolio and market presence.
• Provides disciplined client coverage, understanding objectives and delivering optimal solutions.
• Partners across the bank to identify opportunities and oversee deals from inception to close.
• Keeps knowledge current on products, markets, regulations, and trends relevant to the market.
• Manages risk and credit considerations; identifies and mitigates risk types.
• Monitors pipeline and sales production using company reports and systems.
