Job summary

Truist in Orlando, FL seeks a seasoned Commercial Banking professional to identify, solicit, and grow long-term relationships with clients generating $5M–$75M in annual sales.

You will provide a full range of loan, deposit, and fee-based services, manage an assigned book, and collaborate with Industry & Advisory teams to deliver tailored solutions through Integrated Relationship Management (IRM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• 8+ years of experience establishing new business relationships and retaining/growing existing business relationships.
• Strong command of credit and finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Leverage the Truist Sales Process, Financial Insights, and the Industry & Advisory team to deliver a differentiated client experience in all client, prospect and COI interactions.
• Manage, service and grow an assigned book of commercial banking clients.
• Execute on prospecting activities to grow new commercial banking households.
• Understand and contribute to the credit decisioning process, including analysis of financial statements, credit structuring, underwriting requirements, policy knowledge, risk identification and mitigation.
• Drive continual improvement in portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue.
• Proactively contact clients to fully develop commercial banking relationships via Integrated Relationship Management (IRM).
• Identify all business and personal financial needs and bring in appropriate partners to deliver Truist solutions.
• Monitor, maintain and update sales activity, pipeline, and CRM data.
• Execute on all risk, operational, policy and quality expectations related to assigned client portfolio.
