Job summary

HDVI is reshaping commercial auto insurance in the United States with a focus on service, safety, and savings. This senior claims role independently investigates, negotiates, and resolves complex auto liability claims, including high‑severity cases, leveraging telematics, GPS/ELD data, and a structured approach to reserves and settlements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial auto liability claims experience, including substantial independent handling of bodily injury, litigated, large‑loss claims.
• Active Adjuster’s License and ability to obtain/maintain state licenses.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial auto claims, coverage analysis, damages, reserving, and negotiation.
• Experience managing large‑loss and high‑exposure claims with litigation coordination and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex commercial auto liability claims.
• Manage large‑loss claims, reserves, settlements, and litigation strategy with defense counsel and insureds.
• Provide mentorship to less‑experienced adjusters and share best practices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and thorough documentation across claim files.
• Coordinate with external experts, telematics data, and investigators to support claim decisions.
