Job summary

HDVI is building a modern, data-driven commercial auto insurer focused on service, safety, and savings for trucking fleets. The Senior Liability Adjuster will lead investigations, coverage analyses, and settlement discussions while guiding less-experienced adjusters.

You will work with Claims and Fleet Services to resolve high-severity cases, manage reserves, and coordinate with attorneys, experts, and vendors to achieve world-class outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial auto liability claims experience as part of responsibilities.
• Active Adjuster’s License and ability to obtain/state licenses.
• Strong knowledge of coverage analysis, liability investigation, and damages evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex auto liability claims from investigation to final resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive coverage, liability, causation, damages, and exposure investigations using multiple data sources.
• Manage high-exposure and large-loss claims, developing action plans and reserves as needed.
• Negotiate settlements and pursue subrogation and other recovery opportunities.
• Oversee litigated claims, defense strategy, and coordination with experts and vendors.
• Mentor junior adjusters and provide leadership in claims best practices.
