Job summary

Chubb seeks a Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster in the Phoenix area to handle property damage and related coverages. You will analyze reports, determine coverage, and develop action plans for timely investigations and loss analysis.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of commercial auto claims experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a valid adjuster license or ability to obtain one. Willingness to work overtime during CAT events is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Commercial Auto Claims Adjusting experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• If not licensed, must obtain and maintain applicable state adjuster licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze first reports and promptly contact insured/claimants within hours.
• Evaluate contract language and identify coverage issues.
• Create an action plan for investigation and loss analysis.
• Maintain an active file diary to move files toward timely resolution.
• Establish accurate and timely reserves within required timeframes.
• Refer appropriate files for recovery when needed.
• Comply with internal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims.
• Manage outside vendors effectively.
• Evaluate facts and negotiate settlements.
• Develop relationships with internal and external customers.
• Mentor less experienced Examiners.
• Support CATs with overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
