Job summary

Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, is hiring a Senior Commercial Actuarial Reserving Manager to lead reserving analyses and team development in a remote US role. You will train analysts, manage consultants, and ensure timely project delivery while fostering client relationships.

Qualifications

• BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 6+ years of post-bachelor experience
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 4+ years of experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• 3+ years of Reserving experience
• ACAS certification
• Strong understanding of the market landscape
• Decision‑making, leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and provide training to staff

Responsibilities

• Leads monthly booking and quarterly reserve reviews
• Communicates reserve results to senior leaders
• Drives innovation and process improvements across the team
• Provides effective challenge to leadership
• Manages and trains Actuarial Analysts within the department
• Oversees workload and time management across teams
• Recruits and interviews prospective employees; conducts performance appraisals
• Mentors staff and promotes growth and development
