Job summary
Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, seeks a Senior Commercial Actuarial Reserving Manager to lead reserving efforts and mentor analysts on a remote-first team serving U.S. clients.
You will oversee monthly booking, reserve reviews, client relations, and team development, requiring extensive experience in Commercial Lines Reserving, leadership, ACAS/FCAS, and strong communication.
Qualifications
- BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 6 years of post bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal or commercial lines insurance
- Or Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 4 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal or commercial lines insurance
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- 3+ years of Reserving experience
- ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society)
Responsibilities
- Leads monthly booking and quarterly reserve reviews and communicates results to senior leaders
- Drives process improvements and provides guidance to Analysts/Actuarial staff
- Oversees training and development of Actuarial Analysts
- Manages teams time, workload, and tradeoffs with leadership
- Maintains relationships with internal and external clients through project work
