Job summary

Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, is hiring a Senior Commercial Actuarial Reserving Manager for a remote role across the United States (except Hawaii and Alaska).

You will lead and train actuarial analysts, oversee consultants, and drive reserve analyses and staffing decisions. You will manage timelines, present findings to senior leadership, and build strong relationships with clients while shaping actuarial practice in a mobility-focused team.

Qualifications

• BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 6 years post bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal or commercial lines insurance
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 4 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal or commercial lines insurance
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• 3+ years of Reserving experience
• ACAS
• FCAS preferred
• Strong decision‑making and leadership skills
• Ability to coach and mentor staff

Responsibilities

• Leads monthly booking and quarterly reserve reviews.
• Communicates reserve results and analysis to senior leaders.
• Drives innovation and process improvement efforts across the team.
• Provides effective challenge to leadership.
• Develops and maintains business relationships with internal and external clients.
• Reviews work of Analysts and oversees timely project completion.
• Manages and trains Actuarial Analysts within the department.
• Manages team time/workload and advises leadership on tradeoffs.
• engages with key business partners to achieve objectives with constrained resources.
