Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Cognitive Enhancement Advisor, LCSW to support cognitive performance programs for SOF personnel. This role requires active security clearance and U.S. citizenship, with locations in multiple U.S.

cities including Fayetteville, NC and others nationwide. The position involves supervising staff, delivering evidence-based training in cognitive strategies, biofeedback, sleep, and self-regulation, and coordinating with unit leadership to optimize mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW license valid in state of practice.
• Active, unrestricted LCSW or clinical neuropsychology license.
• Three (3) or more years post-doctoral experience in performance psychology with military/athletic populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees and ensure adequate staff coverage for the program area.
• Serve as subject matter expert for identified area of program knowledge and advise leadership.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies with contract management and shared services.
• Lead cognitive/behavioral skills training, including executive coaching and biofeedback, as directed.
• Document services in HP enterprise-wide platforms and support research as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Doctoral degree in Psychology / related field with performance psychology specialization
