RINA seeks a Senior Coastal Engineer (Marine Lead) to join the Environmental and Engineering Geoscience Division in Houston, TX, with opportunities in Fort Lauderdale, FL or Chicago/Lisle, IL. The role leads maritime design, permitting and construction close-out from concept to final drawings.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in coastal/port projects, a Texas PE license, and a strong track record delivering complex, regulatory-driven programs in collaboration with USACE and Coast Guard.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in coastal, environmental or civil engineering.
• 15+ years in coastal/port/waterway engineering, with at least one project from concept to construction.
• Active Texas Professional Engineer licence (civil).
• Diplomate Coastal Engineering (D.CE) and USACE experience are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead the maritime Design Basis, berth concept, dredge footprint and engineering content for permit applications.
• Direct marine detailed design and coordinate structural, geotechnical, dredging and transfer systems.
• Define marine work packages, write scopes of work and lead bids and clarifications.
