RINA is seeking a Senior Coastal Engineer to lead the maritime discipline from concept through construction for projects in the Environmental and Engineering Geoscience Division. The role supports offices in Houston, TX, Fort Lauderdale, FL or Chicago/Lisle, IL.

You will bring 15+ years in coastal, port or waterway engineering, a Texas civil PE license, and hands-on experience with USACE reviews and design-build processes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in coastal, environmental or civil engineering.
• 15+ years in coastal, port or waterway engineering with full project lifecycle.
• Active Texas Professional Engineer (civil) license.
• Experience with USACE Section 408 and 10/404 reviews preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Owns the maritime Design Basis, berth concept, dredge footprint and permit application content.
• Directs the marine detailed design and coordinates disciplines into one issued-for-construction package.
• Defines marine work packages, writes scopes of work and leads bid evaluations.
• Engineer of Record during construction: field queries, design changes and permit compliance.
• Close-out and operation support: as-built surveys and maintenance planning.
