Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior CNC Setup Technician for the 3rd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will lead setups, load programs, manage offsets, and troubleshoot to maintain high-precision aluminum die cast components in a high-volume, automated department.

The role offers solid hourly pay up to $41.00/hr ($85,280/yr), 401(k) with company match, health/dental/vision benefits, and bonus opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC setup or editing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings.
• Precision measurement skills with inspection tools.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• Must be fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment including multi-axis mills and lathes to finish high-precision aluminum die cast components.
• Load G-code programs, adjust tool offsets, and modify processes to maintain tight tolerances.
• Diagnose surface finish defects and dimensional variations related to tooling or fixtures.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth indicators, and CMM reports.
• Replace worn tools and monitor tool life to prevent scrap and downtime.
• Support daily machine care, coolant management, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate process records including production counts and tool wear.
