Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks a Senior CNC Setup Technician to lead setup and programming on multi-axis aluminum die casting components on the 3rd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will load G-code, set tool offsets, troubleshoot, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances in a high-volume, ISO-certified environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in CNC setup/editing, the ability to read blueprints, and a fully authorized U.S. work status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Hands-on CNC setup and editing experience in a production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings; proficient in precision measurement.
• Must reside within a 45-minute maximum commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes for high-precision aluminum die-cast components.
• Load programs, adjust offsets, and modify processes to meet tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot quality, tool wear, and fixture issues.
• Perform part inspections with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM reports.
• Maintain tooling; replace worn tools to minimize downtime.
• Document production counts, quality metrics, and setup changes.
• Support preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
