GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead CNC Programmer to support manufacturing across all components and processes. You will develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machines using NX-CAM and verify them with Vericut, while mentoring shop floor staff.

Strong expertise in CNC programming and machine coordination, including Siemens Sinumerik One and FANUC controls, is required to lead process improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Machinist Apprentice graduate with 3 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.
• High School Degree with 6 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.

Mansioni

• Generate and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM for multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM.
• Verify new CNC programs before shop floor release using Vericut.
• Provide CNC support and operator training during new or rebuilt machine startup and process improvements.
• Daily CNC programming and troubleshooting support for the shop floor.
• Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools.
• Create and maintain workstation instructions for CNC issues.
• Lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Guide CNC/CAM technology implementation and expansion.
• Communicate effectively with team members across the organization.
• Train other programmers as needed.
• Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for Hoffmann RASMX 8-axis broaching with SINUMERIK ONE, and maintain legacy FANUC programs.
