GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead CNC Programmer to support a broad factory scope across components, processes and machines.

The role involves developing and maintaining CNC programs, validating new programs with Vericut, and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering to drive improvements. The candidate will train operators, support tooling and fixturing, and advance CNC/CAM technology adoption, including 5-axis and legacy FANUC workflows.

Competenze

Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or Machinist Apprentice (or similar) graduate with 3 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.
High School Degree with 6 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.

Mansioni

Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software. This could include multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM.
Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut.
Provide CNC related support to Manufacturing Engineering and provide operator training during new/rebuilt machine startup and/or process improvements.
Provide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor.
Support and implement tooling & fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools.
Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CNC related issues.
Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery.
Provide guidance in the implementation and expansion of CNC/CAM technology.
Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed.
Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization.
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.
Train other programmers as needed.
Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for a Hoffmann RASMX 8-axis broaching machine using SIEMENS SINUMERIK ONE controls.
Maintain and update programs for existing horizontal legacy broaches, primarily utilizing FANUC controls and complex Macro variables
