Job summary

Blue Origin LLC on the Space Coast, FL seeks an experienced CNC Machine Programmer (All Levels) for the B shift. Responsibilities include programming, setup, and operation of 3, 4 and 5 axis mills and multi-axis lathes, collaborating with Engineering to develop high-precision parts.

The role requires 10+ years of CNC machining experience, NX proficiency, GD&T expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machining.
• 10+ years of experience with manual mill and lathe.
• 7+ years of experience with NX.
• Full understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5M.
• Experience machining nickel-based stainless-steel alloys, copper, aluminum or titanium.
• Experience with Mazak, Haas, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, or Okuma.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol CNC controls.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills (GD&T).
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware in collaboration with Engineering.
• Machine product from cradle to grave: select tooling, program, setup, machine and inspect while communicating with design teams.
• Program, set up and machine 3, 4 and 5 axis mills, multi-axis lathes; develop critical machining processes.
• Operate NC and manual equipment as required; document production processes with engineering.
• Prioritize work with leadership based on schedule and goals; ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform daily maintenance and housekeep machinery and equipment.
