Hypertherm Associates in Kent, WA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer Machining to drive operational excellence in a high-mix, low-volume machine shop. You will embed quality, lead cross-functional teams, and optimize processes to improve OEE and support new product introductions.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Industrial Eng, 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, and strong GD&T, statistical analysis, and CAPEX expertise, with Lean/Six Sigma credentials and mentoring

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong Project Management skills.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and real-life application.
• Statistical analysis for Machining CNC CP, and CPK.
• Lean/Six-Sigma certifications, knowledge, application, leadership.
• CAPEX justification & management.
• Mentor and train Technicians.

Responsabilités

• Drive operational excellence across a high-mix, low-volume multi-process value stream; embed quality into processes and improve OEE.
• Develop reliable processes applying TPM principles for long-term stability.
• Oversee multiple projects, CAPEX justification and deployment, set objectives and milestones, ensure on-time, budget-friendly completion.
• Improve manufacturing processes through technical solutions and indirect leadership of engineers/technicians.
• Provide management with technical recommendations; be a technical expert in project management, automation, controls, mechanical design, and Six Sigma.
• Build and maintain relationships with production and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate project goals at all business levels.
